Adding precise shadows to one,s face to give it more angles and structure. 2. What does it mean to Highlight? Adding precise placement of light to the face to enhance one\'s bone structure - this can be done by adding a shimmery powder t the face or using a lights shade of foundation, concealer or powder to emphasize certain areas. 3. What does it mean to \"Bake\" the face? Packing powder onto a specific area of the face or all over prevents the skin from being able to breathe, this causes the powder to trap the makeup in between the powder and your skin - this/these areas will get very hot and in turn \"bakes\" the makeup. It means that your makeup is now bulletproof - it won\'t move or transfer, making your makeup very long wearing.
