Ryan was born & raised in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia area), where he discovered his passion for film and dance at a young age. He went on to pursue a degree in media & communications at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, the school where he would get exposed to the breaking scene at large.  This is also where Ryan would meet friends who would eventually become his crew, "The Elusives," banding together battle and represent the DMV all across the US & beyond. Shortly after graduating, he left his job at a small news station and moved to LA to see just how far he could take both his professional and dance career.  Since then, Ryan has worked with companies like Legendary Entertainment, Red Bull, and College Humor, all while continuing to break at an international level. He has been invited to compete at events such as the Red Bull BC One Los Angeles Cypher, and he continues to climb up the competitive rankings.  In this episode, we talk about:  1. The value of traveling 2. The power of working a shitty job 3. Anime and character building 4. Breaking, and the value it brings beyond money 5. And much more!
