Travel pace is a personal preference that may be hard to determine when you first begin RVing. Should you shoot from location to location every three days in an attempt to see it all in as short of time as possible? Or maybe move every two weeks to allow for leisure time at each site. Or, for the slowest of RVers, moving only each month or longer to take advantage of monthly RV park rates and minimize the stresses of travel. Our RV travels began with the first pace, moving every 3-5 days. However, we quickly became burnt out with the constant stress of finding a new campsite, setting up and tearing down the RV, and many hours of highway hypnosis. We've settled on moving every two weeks since it reduces travel stress but isn't so slow that we get bored at our sites. Every RVer has a different preferred travel pace, but which is best for you?
