'SOME OF MEDAVOG\'S DRAWINGS THROUGH THE YEARS. Francisco Medavog was born in 1971, during what was then considered \"The Glamour Generation\". Francisco\'s early life was a reflection of the colorful decade in fashion history known as \"the 70\'s\". By the age of ten he was already loving and dressing the part of fashion. One of the most pivotal moments in his young life occurred in 1984 at the age of thirteen, when he first glanced at GQ Magazine. Spending countless hours observing the ads of Valentino and Armani, mesmerized by the fine details of the suits, Francisco was forever changed by fashion. Filled with questions like \"How does someone create such beauty?\" and \"Where do I start?\" his true journey began. Eager to explore his new found passion, Francisco began by following trends, every bit dressing and living the part. First enticed by the British influence on fashion, he found himself smitten by the \"New Romantics\" keen styling. It was only a short matter of time before Francisco enrolled in FIDM, one of the West Coast\'s première private fashion institutes. In 1988 he began collecting vintage costumes as a means of study. His desire for originals was first ignited by the acquisition of several 1960\'s mod designer pieces of masters such as Pierre Cardin, Rudi Gernreich, Paco Rabanne and Dior. Filled with a sense of purpose, Francisco proceeded to create the art, fashion and persona that are now \"MEDAVOG\" and the brand \"World of Medavog\". At 20 years old the ambitious fashion designer presented \"The Lines of the Future\", this was to be the first of many collections. It was in 1992 that he was approached by the country of Mexico to represent the 500th Anniversary Expo in Sevilla, Spain in conjunction with the Summer Olympics in Barcelona, to feature \"Tenochtitlan 3038\" by Vianka Santana. Europe forever changed his point of view on fashion. Upon his return to the United States of America, Medavog was not only inspired, he now yearned to be the greatest fashion designer in California. Learning his craft year by year, decade by decade this dedicated artist continues to seek new avenues to carry on with his work. Through his own means, support of investors and collectors alike, his work has been seen in Europe, Mexico and the USA. His most recent collection of bikinis have been noted as being as innovative and avant garde as any Parisian couturier. Medavog is without question on a roll. As an artist, vintage couture collector, painter, illustrator and video persona, this gentleman is quite an extraordinary talent. Summer 2012 is to be amongst the best of Medavog, as he will be featuring \"Tenochtitlan 2100 AD\" a tribute to the Aztec Empire. This collection has been in the works since 1992, only now coming to fruition through design collaboration in recent years with avant garde designer Anjela Piccard as jewelry designer. Playing on shared admiration, this collaboration of designers, artists and musicians promises to honor the history and beauty of the \"Corn God\". In conjunction with fashion week in New York, Medavog is the first designer in Southern California to show his spring 2012 \'Beautification\' couture collection a month before Los Angeles fashion week, also celebrated across the states including Kansas City Missouri where he worked with the very best. Telemundo will be airing a special program on caso cerrado in the month of October that promises Francisco Medavog ultimate star status in Latin America. \"I design my ideas directly from the heart and soul, at times paper and others fine fabric drapping. Everything I see is art, I am art! I hope to inspire many generations to come and long past my days on this earth. I adore people of all kinds, as they are my inspiration. My passion for life is fashion and for this, I am honored and grateful.\" -MEDAVOG Written by Anjela Piccard █│║▌║││█║ █║│█│║▌║││█!! 000000007241971 \"Yesterday is history tomorrow.
