'ചോറും ബിരിയാണിയും കൂടാതെ ഒരു 40 മത്സ്യമാംസ കറികളും ഗുൽകന്തും ഒക്കെ ഒരു ഇലയിലോട്ടു വിളമ്പിയിട്ട് അവിടെ നിന്ന് ആ ചേട്ടൻ നമ്മളെക്കൊണ്ട് അത് മുഴുവൻ കഴിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടേ വിടൂ - എവിടെയാണെന്നോ? തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ ഈറോഡിന് അടുത്തു പെരുന്തുറയിലുള്ള യുബിഎം ഹോട്ടലിന്റെ കാര്യമണ് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞത്. ശരിക്കും പറഞ്ഞാൽ മത്സ്യമാംസാദികളുടെ വമ്പൻ സദ്യ തന്നെയാണ് അവിടെ. പക്ഷെ, അത് മുഴുവൻ കഴിക്കുവാൻ ഒരൽപം ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായിരുന്നു ട്ടോ. ശരിക്കും അത്രയും ആഹാരം ഒരാൾക്ക് കഴിച്ചു തീർക്കുവാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണ്. We were on our way to Bangalore and we started off with a quick breakfast that we took away with us from Mani\'s Cafe in Palakkad. The main part of our food day was at UBM Restaurant in Perundurai near Erode in Tamil Nadu. We were nicely welcomed by an aunty and her son to serve rice, biryani, almost 40 different non-vegetarian dishes, sweets, and more. There were several varieties of mutton, chicken, and fish delicacies on our leaf. For me, it took pretty much time to finish the meal and it was a bit too much for me. The food is good, extremely good, but if they could reduce the quantity a bit, it would have been better (anyways, that\'s my personal opinion).
