Srilesh told me that they use the ant nests only from good trees. They climb the trees and collect the nests, and get bitten in the process. Even after that, they endure the pain of ant bites during the process of making chutney. But I have to say that the chutney made with red ants, ant nests, bird\'s eye chilies and salt was awesome.
