my time in Alaska was such a big warm blessing. sometimes God opens doors for us in all types of different ways. "He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake." -Psalm 23:3 i knew i wanted to go to Alaska. not only because of my cousin or my friends that live there. but because I prayed, and it felt right to book my flight and go. going on a trip by myself. even when my mom said no. i realized that I AM THE MAIN CHARACTER in my MOVIE. i am going to do whatever makes me happy. i needed to take that leap of faith and do it. i needed to be brave. because brave people need people. there is so much i learned in alaska. not only the beauty of mother nature or everything green. i learned so much more from the people around me. i wouldn't go into detail here but if i had to sum it all up into words, it'd be... feeling safe, hugs, patience, thank you's, laughter, togetherness, understanding, quietness, peace, more laughter, dance, dance in the rain, dance some more, hug more, sing, sing loud, spend money, spend how ever much you want because you can make it all right back within no time, travel, travel far, travel alone, do things alone, be okay with being alone, have fun alone, love yourself alone, dance alone, journal, relax, pray, pray some more life is amazing as it should be. thankful for all the memories made on this trip. can't wait to book my next flight. THE WORLD IS A BOOK, AND THOSE WHO DO NOT TRAVEL ONLY READ A PAGE.
