Unfortunately, a sudden rain washed out our plans and we had to continue or trip to Nuwara Eliya. As we the rain spoiled our plans to explore Kandy market, we decided to try some food on the way to Nuwara Eliya. Our journey to Nuwara Eliya was awesome with Sri Lankan tea plantations, small towns, plenty of waterfalls, and greenery. We stopped by the majestic Ramboda Waterfall and the views around were really stunning. While continuing our journey to Nuwara Eliya, we did spot many more streams and waterfalls. There were also many farms producing upcountry vegetables and fruits. In Nuwara Eliya we parked our car close to the oldest post office in Sri Lanka. From Nwara Eliya post office, we walked past the bus station and market to some of the food vendors in the town.
